Dr. Indira Datta completed her medical degree and Master of Public Health at the University of New South Wales. She went on to work at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital prior to realising that only as a General Practitioner would she be able to work in all the areas of medicine she enjoyed – women’s health, paediatrics, sexual health, endocrinology & cardiology, just to name a few..!
Indira also has an interest in Medical Education and participates as an admissions interviewer for the UNSW Undergraduate Medicine Program, a Clinical Teaching Visitor for junior doctors training to be General Practitioners, and an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Indira welcomes seeing people of all ages and stages of life and works in partnership with her patients for an evidence-based approach to improving their health. She is a recognised Antenatal Shared Care provider with several Hospitals across Sydney and can also provide implanon insertion & removal services.
